My initial thought was that it was definitely written by a salesperson who was frustrated at legal.


And then I realized that this could have also been written by a lawyer.


But reading between the lines, the thing that stuck out was the fact that sales and legal have sat down together to agree on acceptable rules to close contracts.


A discussion and brainstorming session must have occurred.


Frustrations and interests must have been discussed and addressed.


This kind of collaboration is a recipe for success.


It’s good for people, and its just good for business.


It’s a reminder that closing sales deals isn’t about legal versus sales; it’s about creating a streamlined process that serves the customer and the company.

When teams come together to solve problems, everyone wins.
